Bradley Neil Haynie was born in Corsicana on November 27, 1947. He was raised in Corsicana and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1966. Brad went on to Navarro College, where he played baseball and graduated in 1968. He attended North Texas University and majored in Advertising Art before returning to Corsicana to help with the family business, Haynie Drilling Co.
Brad owned and managed Haynie Drilling and assisted with Haynie Towing for many years. He swerved in the U.S. Army Medical Reserves for 5 years and was an officer for the Corsicana Police Department in the early 1970s. A member of Northside Baptist Church for over 60 years, he served as a deacon there. Brad was a hard-working, well-respected businessman.
Often referred to as "Mr. Corsicana" or "Mr. Derrick Days," Brad was involved in, and loved his hometown of Corsicana - and the people in it. He always tried to stay positive and lead others to better the community by making it something to be proud of.
Brad was involved in many community organizations and was endowed with several special community awards including the following:

Brad Haynie passed away on December 4, 2022.
